About Us

Hi I’m Gracia owner of Gracen Boutique. I named the boutique after our daughter who just turned 6 years old this month. I am a licensed hairstylist for almost 17 years. I own Salazar Hair Design, I stepped away from working behind my chair to focus on our daughter when she was born. My love for fashion comes from my late uncle who was a fashion designer in the Philippines which is where I am from. It has been a goal and dream to finally do this. 5 years ago I planned on launching unfortunately I got diagnosed with liver cancer and had to go through surgery to get a 9lb tumor out and so I decided I would step back because I wanted to recover and be present for our daughter. October 2023 vacationing at the Bahamas I got a call to let me know that I need get all the tests started when getting back to determine if I would be qualified for a liver transplant. I was booked to go to Dallas for Market to shop inventory a week after getting back. I hesitated to go but my husband encouraged me to stick with the plan and to pursue this dream of mine. In December a few days before Christmas we found out my cancer is back. After all the tests and procedures that I needed to get done which took months. March 4th I was put on the liver transplant list. Despite all of what’s going on with our unknown life I am trying to manage to make sure to provide the best quality pieces that you all would love.
